What makes DYWIDAG Concrete Technologies special?

QUALITY and SAFETY ORIENTATION: We manufacture our solutions in accordance with the requirements of EC 2 and ITB. RECOSTAL solutions have technical approvals: DIBt and CARES. The RECOSTAL® Starter Pack complies with DIN EN 1992-1-1/NA and meets the requirements set out in the DBV Bulletin. CONTEC® products have the German abP test certificate. DYWIDAG Form ties are manufactured in accordance with DIN 18.216 as well as the relevant recommendations of the building authority.

CLIENT ORIENTATION: Our clients are from all over Europe. We provide support when planning technical solutions. For our clients, we provide a free formwork design for foundations or foundation footings, as well as an assembly design with a diagram using our solutions.

We try to approach each project individually, adapting products to the client's project. At the customer's request, we produce solutions in any size according to the design.

Our core strength is the ability to adapt and customise our products to your project and support you in technical planning.

YEARS of EXPERIENCE: We started the production of permanent formwork and reinforcement in Germany in 1980, when a significant part of the products and systems currently used in reinforced concrete construction were completely unknown in the 1980s. Since our founding, we have played a significant role in the development of innovative specialty products - both for german market and many international markets. CONTEC® and RECOSTAL® system solutions are continuously developed to offer optimal solutions to constantly changing problems on the construction site. DYWIDAG Concrete Technologies is one of the business units of the DYWIDAG Group with history dates back to 1865, when Dyckerhoff and Widmann AG (DYWIDAG) founded a small concrete construction company.

PRODUCTION in EUROPE: We create our RECOSTAL® and CONTEC® system solutions in two production plants: Köthen in Germany and Gajków in Poland.

μ - coefficient depends on roughness of contact area

c - friction coefficient during abrasion

LOAD CAPACITY IN CONTACT

EUROKOD 2 ( PN-EN 1992-1-1)

VRdi = c * fctd + μ * σn + ρ * fyd ( μ * sin α + cos α)

c - coefficient depends on roughness of contact area

μ - friction coefficient during shear

σn - stress perpendicular to contact area (σn = 0)

α - angle between the contact area and stapling reinforcement (450 < α < 900)

fctd - designed tensile strength of concrete

fyd - reinforcement design tensile strength

ρ = AsAi

ρ - stapling reinforcement ratio

As - cross-sectional area of reinforcement in contact area

Ai - surface area of the contact area

CALCULATION EXAMPLE

Concrete: C25/30 > fctd = 1.33 Mpa Reinforcement ratio 3% > ρ = 0.03

Very smooth contact

VRdi= 0.20*1.33 Mpa+0.03*420Mpa*(0.5*sin900+cos 900) = 6.33 MPa

Stepped joint

VRdi = 0.50 *1.33 Mpa+0.03*420Mpa*(0.9*sin900+cos 900) = 12.0 MPa

CALCULATION EXAMPLE

COMPARISON OF LOAD CAPACITY: Key profile transfers bigger load.
